This Privacy Policy explains how maiyadidatasub ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android app and website (https://maiyadidatasub.com.ng).
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored hashed).
- Transaction details: purchases, wallet funding, service type, amounts, and references.
- KYC / government ID: BVN or NIN when you choose to verify identity for wallet funding features. This is used only to meet provider and regulatory requirements.
- Technical and security data: authentication tokens, device/app unlock settings, login attempts, and IP-related security logs.
- Contacts: only when you explicitly open the device contact picker on supported screens (for example airtime/data). We do not upload your full contact book.
- Biometrics: we store only whether biometric unlock is enabled on your device. Fingerprint/face templates stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.
We do not use advertising SDKs and do not collect Advertising ID for ads.
How We Use Information
- Provide VTU, internet, bill payment, and related services.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Process transactions and show history.
- Complete KYC checks required by payment partners.
- Customer support and important service notices.
- Prevent fraud and enforce platform security.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share necessary information with payment gateways, telecom/service providers, and KYC/identity partners solely to complete requested transactions, and when required by law or to protect against fraud.
Data Retention
- Active account data is kept while your account remains open.
- After account deletion, personal identifiers are anonymized or removed. Transaction records may be retained in anonymized form for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations (typically up to several years as required for financial records in Nigeria).
- Security logs are retained for a limited period for fraud investigation.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time:
Your wallet must be ₦0.00 before deletion. Deletion anonymizes personal data and permanently disables sign-in.
Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data (encryption in transit via HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls). You are responsible for keeping your password, PIN, and device unlock methods confidential.
Children
maiyadidatasub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

- Update profile information in your account.
- Enable or disable biometric unlock in app settings.
- Delete your account as described above.
